How The Word of God fulfills forever

word, prophecy, visions

The book of prophet Isaiah says, “Seek and read from the book of the Lord; not one is missing and none shall be without her mate, for the spirit of the Lord had gathered them together” (Isa. 34:16). It means that the prophetic word of God in the bible is chained from the book of Genesis through the book of Revelation, the last prophetic book in the bible. So each prophetic word uttered must have its link from one generation to another in the exact meaning although the name, places, and times mentioned in the bible could be changed, but the meaning of the fulfillment must be exactly same.

Except you follow up the chain, you cannot expose those hidden mysteries which other bible concordance/reference book authors may find it very difficult to trace out. Just as what Isaiah said, unless you have special spiritual gift and you are given those biblical visions and dreams from the very passages of the bible which was shown to the prophets of old like the dream of the Babylon which was again revealed to prophet Daniel in a vision at night he requested from God through prayer so as to enable him tell the king his dream and the interpretation (Dan.2:1-49). There is no guess work, research or imagination of the thought rather the Holy Spirit does the research and gather them to you either in a vision or in a dream from the various portions of the bible.

Jesus said, “for heaven and earth will pass away but my word will not pass away” (Luke 21:33). Meaning that all things shall pass away but his word remains forever (Isa. 40:8 &1 Peter 1:23-25). As the word of God remains forever, so are visions, dreams, and prophecies remains forever. Consequently, on should not rule out that a particular vision, dream and prophecy written in the bible or spoken through the mouth of any prophet has finally passed away upon the fulfillment of a particular event. That message will keep on fulfilling from one place to another and from one generation to another forever; it will never end therefore will not pass away since the word of God is still living. But the fulfillment varies from place to place and from on period to another. In any giving revelation, the event to come should be analyzed in all angles since the event to come cannot fulfill exactly as predicted but an event may occur very similar in meaning to what the prophet had predicted and again another similar event may still occur in future based on what the prophet had earlier predicted.

Similarly, King David predicted of one who shall betray him which fulfilled initially through his trusted friend by name Ahithophel, Israel wisest man before the birth of King Solomon, being ashamed of his deed hanged himself and died (Ps. 41:9 & 2 Sam. Chapter 16 to 17). One would say, the vision of David had fulfilled already yet another fulfillment took place in another generation not as before but in a quite similar manner; this time it was fulfilled through Jesus a descendant of king David; and his traitor was Judas Iscariot being also ashamed of his deed hanged himself and died like the trusted friend of David (Matt. 1:17 & John 13:18-30).

The king who shall bear the mark 666 to rule the whole world had fulfilled two times; one through Nero Caesar the former antichrist who ruled the whole world and other through the Bishop of Rome recognized as the anointed Son of God who also ruled the whole world. “Nero Caesar” in spelling whose letters of his name are calculated in Roman numeral as well as in Hebrew letters was summed upto the figure 666 while the title of the Bishop of Rome was also summed upto 666 as the same but not the Bishop’s personal name unlike Nero Caesar’s case. Thus the mark 666 fulfilled two times in different ways within the very Roman world Empire at a different period and there shall still be future fulfillment of the mark 666 in a different form to fulfill the prophecy.

King Herod would not have killed the innocent babies of Bethlehem if he had known that the prophecy of Micah so referred to will not fulfill all in that generation although the Messiah was to come from Bethlehem of Judah who was expected to rule Israel as Micah predicted. Thus the prophecy partially fulfilled because the Messiah did not rule Israel. Also Prophet Jeremiah predicted the killing of those innocent babies at Romah the home town of prophet Samuel (see 1 Sam. 7:15-17); but the event took place at Bethlehem of Judea upon the Birth of Jesus Christ not at Ramah. Therefore the event fulfilled but the place of the event changed (see Micah 5:2-4 Jer. 31:15 & Matt. 2:1-23).

God also changes his programmes to suite his own will just as Jesus changed some of the laws of Moses in the new Testament (see Isa. 48:6-7 and Matt. Chapter 5 to 7). Thus the prophecy of God and Magog predicted in Ezekiel chapter 38 to 39 involving the Russians, the Arab nations and Israel shall be fulfilled after the 1000 years reign of god’s kingdom on earth whose battle will lead to the arrest of the devil as was latter shown to Apostle John in the book of Revelation, yet the event the predicted is quite similar to what prophet Ezekiel earlier predicted; there shall still be a change during its fulfillment in the latter days. (Rev. 20:1-end)

Base on these facts, it is not easy for one to interpret the prophecies in the bible accurately since the event changes but it is easy to identify the fulfillment in various ways either through revelation from God or by personal observation based on past records. Therefore a prophecy fulfill part by part from one generation to another and from one to another all cannot fulfill at the same time and at the same place. Thus the mission of Jesus Christ was predicted by different prophets in the bible to be fully accomplished in different generations. In a given prophecy, a particular paragraph may be fulfilled partially and not all at the same time like the prophecy of Micah about the Birth of Jesus Christ and his ruler ship in Israel as at then which was the hope of the Jews but all did not come pass as they expected. Also right there in the bible, there are several prophecies given in one generation and fulfilled in another generation which was not too easy to be identified by our preachers because the name, place and even the time mentioned by the prophet changed during the fulfillment. The exposure of those mysteries is known as the “Hidden Manna” (Rev. 2:17).
