Our Life Together

take away

Back at school,
waiting the city bus
with Marianne,
told her to run faster
but she wouldn't.
Lots of traffic.
Ran for the 214
when saw it coming.
Waved to the driver
but he wouldn't stop.
So ran for the 208
and did the same,
but here again,
he would not stop.
So it turned green
for pedestrians,
so i told her,
"Hurry the bleep up!!!"
but she wouldn't
budge a toe.
She just stood there,
eating her chocolates;
so I crossed the road,
and made her sign,
"C'mon!!! Let's go!"
but I got stuck in the
middle of the road,
and the lights turned
yellow; so she stayed
where she was,
and so did I.
She laughed at me,
while I was stuck
in the middle.
There was no room
for a person on
this little piece
of sidewalk.
So I grabbed the
banner and held on,
oh so tightly,
and just wished
for a MIRACLE to arise.

-

I feared so much
at that very moment.
I thought to myself,
"My whole life
could end right here.
I could lose it all.
Everything that was
just, so important to me,
everyone that I loved
so passionately.
My dear Jacques,
how could I ever
leave him, without
ever saying goodbye?
My loving family,
how will I manage,
in another life,
without any one of them?
And what about my
such awesome friends?
What will it be like,
in this other life,
when there's no one left
to talk to about it all;
all of my secrets,
all of my fears...?
My love Jacques,
how will I go without
you by my side?
I was always so scared
to losing you Hun,
but I guess it is just for
the best, right?"

-

Suddenly,
a giant breeze of wind
almost "wooshed" me away,
and there he was,
right above me.
He spread out his hand
to save me from all
of this madness.

-

Was he an Angel
sent from up above?
Was it just my
imagination going,
oh so wrong?
Was my Love really here,
to help me out in this
giant disaster?

-

I grabbed on,
and held onto him
so tightly.
There ain't nothing
that would take me
away from him now.
No one will stop me
from living a happy
and healthy life,
with the only man that
I truly adore!

-

Nothing will ever come
between us again babe...
I won't let it happen;
not now, and not ever!
You are the only one
for me babe, and if
I cannot be with you
in this life, then I'll take
my life and meet you
in the next one above, love.

No matter what the problems,
no matter how much I would cry,
you've always been there,
in the good times and bad.
I thank you for everything;
for never having forgotten,
for not having let go of us.
Babe, I love you today
and still will tomorrow.
So remember this write
forever, when you think
of our life together,
because I know that you
will always be the first
to come and rescue me,
no matter what the situation!

You've always been
(and I doubt that it
would ever change)
just so WONDERFUL to me.
I love you Jacques
and Miss you so much too!
Wish I could someday
soon be the one laying right
beside you babe.
I know we can be happy
together, Love.
I know that this will work.
All we need is time, Hun.
So even though it might
get hard (well babe, without
a doubt it will), whoever ends up
the weak one, between you and I,
just like the old days
when we would argue about it,
I know at least one of us
will not give in, and remind
the other to not give up Hope.
For without Hope,
there's only one
thing left to do.
And my love,
don't you do it;
please, don't you
ever cut that rope!
I'll never forget you;
not today, nor tomorrow...

Every moment we
shared together,
was more than I could
ever wish for!
I am so lucky to have
met you, my love!
I just know that we
can get through this.
We will hold on together,
and when the time comes babe,
we will forever be together!
There ain't nobody who
will take you away from me!
I love you babe,
and this I do beaucoup!

About the author or the publisher
Born in the city of Montreal, in the year 1987, in a loving home and surrounded by the most wonderful family, I was their little Lulu. Always the shy one in class, would always listen to teachers and do well on class assignments. I would almost never make any spelling or grammar mistakes which was why I decided to do something with this talent of mine. That was when I began writing my own poems, short stories, essays, articles, and many more.
