Spring Clean Your Life

Motivation in Your Life

Spring Cleaning is right around the corner, well really it is already here. So, it is time to interpret what this philosophy is really all about. When we spring clean we are getting rid of all of our unused clutter. This is a simplistic means of doing away with items that are seemingly placing a barricade in our path to a smoother transition in life. Organizing your life and your personal patterns of daily living are a necessity if your going to stay sharp, and stay in charge of yourself.

From our Posessions to Ourselves

The possessions that we own, we want to get back into tip top shape, and if that means steam cleaning those curtains in the living room or replacing them altogether, then we do it. Cupboards are pulled open and old utensils, pots and pans, and any foods that have been sitting in there collecting dust for mindless ages are wiped away, or are cleaned and uniformed in a concise manner. This is all in the sense that we are making our lives better, improving upon our living conditions, and making for a more inhabitable and spotless home. Don't you think your life in general should be handled in the same way? Or is it the generalized perception that those old cobwebs we have hanging around in our weary minds are performing some sort of needed ritual to keep us going day in and day out? That type of mentality is very unlikely yet, barely anyone scours through their mental library or individualized life to take away the overdue stuff or to prepare for fresher and brighter ideas towards becoming someone better.

Preparedness for a New You

The best way to get rid of the needless worries and tiresome junk in our own minds and lives is to sit down and make a new plan, decide what is going to take place this year, what are the goals, what do we want to see our life become? Now this might seem more like a New Year's resolution, and in a way it is because spring is a time of rebirth just like beginning a New Year is. So, if you failed to get started at the beginning of the year, don't feel bad, a lot of people get knocked off balance then. You still have a fresh chance in the spring, which is here and now. But if you procrastinate then it is going to whiz by just like the first opportunity for change and bolder ideas did. What you need to do is tell yourself that you can do this, you can do it by making yourself the priority, not the subsequent item on the list. You have to motivate yourself and the best way to do this is by following a one word motivator.

One Word Motivators

Some people might want to choose one word specifically suited for them, but the best and most assertive way to do this is by picking a word that you should start using in your everyday vocabulary. Take each letter of the word and make a sentence that will point out your goals and future dreams. A word like, "Winner". The reason I chose this word is because failure should not be in the vocabulary at all but yet people feel that way about themselves. So from now on your going to focus on being a winner! Now, here is the philosophy you should follow when you call this word up in your mind.

WINNER:

W~ When I start something, I will finish it without feeling I've failed

I~ I can be whatever I choose to be.

N~ Never give in to the feeling of failure

N~ New ideas will flourish if I focus on my goals

E~ Everyone can be somebody if they set their mind to it, even I can

R~ Respect yourself, your dreams, and most of all respect yourself and what you believe you can do

No one can stop you but yourself and by cleaning out the minds closet, your building a bridge to endless impossibilities!
