Acne management technique is in great demand for both teenagers and adults. Several types of treatments are available including products for tropical use to cover up symptoms and also to eject pimples and blemishes by reaching to the core of the problem.

Patients of acne show varieties of symptoms. The reason of acne in one individual may not be same for the other. Likewise the reaction of one patient is not similar to that of the other. One common reaction is the feeling of distress and anxiety. The medical practitioner or the dermatologist might be useful in parting educational aspects in such cases.

Acne Vulgaris, is the most common type referred to as “zits” or “pimples.” Common types of acne are known as blackheads, whiteheads, papules and pustules. The natural oils of the skin unable to reach the surface produces effect in causing different types of acne. This is known as clogged pores. The acne forms underneath the skin. The combination of natural oils of the body and dead skin cells is responsible for acne formation.

Clean and clear pores are essential ingredients in acne treatment management. Whatever may be the situation, it is advised not to touch them at all, and otherwise it would take the bacteria deeper into the skin and will result in acute damage of skin. Even so, papules are small red dots that should be left alone without any attempt to squeeze them. This will result in more irritation only. Blackheads are frustrating and have longer life than pustules and whiteheads and are deep rooted under the skin. As such a blackhead can consume many days before it goes off. Consultation with a dermatologist may be quite useful in the management and treatment of blackheads.

Remedies
Most types of acne response to treatments, and there are number of medications either prescribed ones or OTC (Over the Counter) is available in the market. Routine washing of the face a few times a day is the first step of prevention process. Acne prevention techniques should be taken up by those who apprehend to get acne in their teenage or have just got rid of an acne problem.

Dermatologists prescriptions of medicines contain lotions, creams, gels and oral medicaments arrest and kill bacteria present on the skin and further help to prevent acne. The unnecessary use of such medicaments without the prescription of a dermatologist may cause irritation of the skin and produce untoward side effects.

Conclusion
Regarding facts about acne myths, taking of oily foods and desserts or chocolate does not induce acne as long as the basic rules of hygiene are maintained. Acne is both physical and emotional problem. Acne may tell upon the confidence level of an individual. So, it is essential to go for an acne treatment immediately on outbreak.
